WORSHIP SERVICE

From the most ancient times men have come to worship before God.  The psalmist expressed this desire for people to seek and worship God when he write,

“As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, O God” .
Psalm 42:1

Worship is the key to the abiding presence of God.  To come before God with sincere and grateful hearts in spirit and in truth is the true desire of the congregation members of Hope Church ZA.

We have worship service twice a week – midweek Wednesday evening service and enriching Sunday morning service.

CELL GROUPS

Cells within the body of believers are small groups created for the purpose of worship, experiencing God, ministering to one another and ministering to the community.  Within this nurturing group regular worship, intercessory prayer, accountability and fellowship around God’s Word binds the individuals into a cohesive family unit.

Cell groups properly functioning provide the environment in which Christians can actively participate in each others’ lives.  A cell group provides an environment where believers can actively learn from each other.  The word “cell” best describe the supportive interaction between the many cells all to accomplish purposes greater than themselves.

At Hope Church ZA we have different categories of cell groups to serve the different needs of the believers in the congregation (Youth: Student, Young Professional, Young Married Couple; Women: Morning Women’s, Moms; Men: Early Bird Men)

MENTORSHIP

They say youth is a gift of nature, but age is a work of art.  At Hope Church ZA we are privileged to have believers from all walks of life come together to share, not only the word of God, but also in the love and support of fellow believers.  Our Mentorship Program serves as a platform where our mentors can advise, assist and support the youth on their life journey.

We provide mentorship and counselling training for the men and women in the congregation to serve as the foundation and backbone of the church.  By equipping themselves not only as believers, but also as mentors, they are able to guide and support the young adults to become responsible and discerning members of society that can shine the light of God to the world.

As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.
